In Arapellet we incorporate the latest and most automated technology in all processes of wood treatment, for chipping, grinding, drying, granulation and bagging.
We start the process with the debarking and chipping of unsuitable logs for saw. In other cases, we start directly with sawdust and splinter. We have a drying oven, fueled with biomass that generates hot air for the trommel (drying drum).
The product undergoing processing is stored in two large silos, wet and dry. We end up with two dry mills and six high-power granulators. For the packaged product, normally to 15 kg per sack, we have two lines of automatic bagging.
Facilities occupy six hectares of land, and include large areas of collection, as well as diaphanous warehouse of 6,000 square meters for optimal storage of palletised finished product. We also have two large silos for finished bulk material. All this implies a storage capacity of around 18,000 tons of finished product.
